IT'S 8:52PM...

and I am at school "studying." I put that in quotes because, OBVIOUSLY, I am actually writing a blog and not studying. But I wanted to share with my fan base of 1 (Hi Kristin!LOL) that I got my grades for my first semester of law school "The Sequel." (Since this is my second time and all, lol.)

So I got a B- in Criminal Law in October, 3rd highest score in the class- Horray!

Then Friday and Saturday they posted our other grades.

Contracts = C
Torts = C-

I was REALLY worried I had gotten D's, so I guess I am relieved, but I am not happy. I am worried. I need to get a B+ in Criminal Law now to try and fix it, and I am optimistic because I did so well on the midterm, but I don't know. I mean, if I hadn't managed my time so poorly I could have written a better essay on my last question and very possibly could have gotten an A on the exam. SERIOUSLY. I got a 90, and 85 and a 65(!) on my essays. I only got the 65 because I didn't finish the essay. Obviously I knew the answers and how to write a good paper. Seriously... I did great on that exam. So it is totally possible that I could get a B+, but it is still a long shot.

And for me, I have to have an overall grade of C+ to pass first year, a 2.3overall GPA. Right now I have a 1.98 including summer session. So I have to do REALLY well from here on out. I am close, but not there yet. I would feel alot better if I had gotten even 5 points more on my Contracts and Torts midterms. And I know, I was so grateful to not get a D on either, but still... it wasn't good enough.

I stil somehow did better than the smarty-pants in my study group, but ya know. Girls are better than boys anyway.
