Wordless Wednesday: Our Secret Place in Summer

Charlie Brown Bagel & I went location scouting for a photo shoot and returned to our Secret Place as a possible locale (and it was a success! You can see the pics from that shoot over at my work blog: http://eheizerphotography.blogspot.com/2011/07/oh-alice-you-dont-even-know-what-tea.html )

Afterwards we came home, Charlie was kind of hot and did his Dumbo impression- and Al Bundy I guess too. Sorry, I didn't apply a modesty patch; I'm not as sophisticated as the Dooche or Pioneer Woman blog to do that.

Wordless Wednesday: Hail Attack!

I'm sorry, is it June or NOVEMBER?

  Photobucket
Charlie is not sure what to think of being pelted by huge frozen rocks while trying to do his business on the front lawn.  He is thinking real hard. He is also pretty sleepy.

OOPS! Hit on the nose by hail. He's awake now. He's also going potty. I censored this image for you. You're welcome. For another post on censoring.... go here.

You can actually see it coming down in this one!

I took these a couple weeks ago. It rained yesterday too; it's been raining all the month of May! Everybody has been complaining- rain and hail in California in summer? It's supposed to be 100 degrees right now! But I am like, DUDE! I'll take winter weather to hide my holiday turkey fat any day!

Wordless Wednesday: Laying down in Traffic

I recently went to Washington DC to photograph a wedding. The night before the big event, the couple and I went to Georgetown to do some portraits to get them out of the way before the wedding and I ended up laying down in the middle of the road with my head in traffic and the bride's sister ended up trying to hold her body out to protect me from being crushed to death, and once I stopped almost-dying to get the shot, the sister took these pictures of me with one of my spare cameras (which was set on manual focus unbeknownst to her, and she didn't know how to change it, lol, but I still think she did very well!). I really appreciate people taking pictures of me when I work because I don't have any record of me during this time of me as a photographer because I'm always behind the camera!

I like this first picture best because I don't look fat. :)
You can also see my hair, which I accidentaly dyed black and then un-dyed by washing my hair with PEROXIDE all day long before this shoot before lightening it to the below color. In the grocery store recently, I found out one of the dyes I used was RECALLED because the wrong dye had been put in the box and mislabeled! :-O

These pants are several sizes too big for me and they are constantly falling off me. So they are always sagging when I lift my arms too high. But they are so comfortable and they always fit right out of the dryer so I always keep them around.
