This is the book I started reading a couple days ago. I am reading it pretty slowly as work is keeping me busy, as well as getting my home clean again for my inspection. Everything has to be perfect so I can get back under my lease again and they fix my stinkin' garbage disposal because it is now having trouble draining and literally, stinks!
I went camping with the family this weekend. It was miserable trying to hold my emotions in. We also didn't take the boat out until Monday (got there Saturday) which annoyed and frustrated me because that's my stress relief. The stress and annoyance of parenting other people's children on a boat is suprisingly comforting to me because of it's familiarity. I've spent alot of time on boats. I may not know how to drive a skier, or back a trailer down a ramp, but someday I assume I'll own a boat and learn those things. In the meantime I am a mighty first mate and assistaint to whoever the boat owners are.
I drove home on Monday night, got lost, took me 4.5 hours to get home instead of 3.5. (We were camping at Shaver Lake, which is somewhat near Yosemite. Little further south.) My family is still there (Pop + girlfriend & dog, Sister, Sister + husband + kids, 2 extra kids whose wardobe consisted SOLELY of BYU cougars gear for the entire 5 days they planned on hanging with my family.
Wish me luck on the inspection. Send me hope to heal my broken heart.
(Below) My Dad walking the dog, and my sister and Dad wandering into the woods. I took some really awesome pictures of the kids in the woods, which were posed to blow up for art prints, but I can't share them on the off chance my sister ever finds my blog. She'd flip if her kids pictures were on the internet. Whatever.
