I think we had tailgated at K's house along with another friend of Ks- we'll call him K2. When we started to walk to the game, Sarah realized she had left her football ticket at my house in Springfield- a good 15 minute drive! We had all been drinking so K2 drove us back to Springfield and then back to K's house and then we walked to the game. K and I got really silly and horsed around the whole walk to the game, wrestling and jumping on each other and really just behaving like children. (Which was of course fun!)
K2 disappeared at some point, and Sarah got tired and decided to go home. That left just K and I. We went to the Moda Center, and ended up holding hands... There was a lot of touching and put my legs in his lap- it was just a lot of heavy duty flirting.
Unfortunately, I made some poor choices about not eating enough, and drinking too much and for the first time in 10 years, I got really sick. K took me back to his house and I laid on the floor while he patted my back for a long time. Then I ended up in the bathroom- sick- for hours. This was a REALLY bad idea on my part because I had to leave for the airport at 3am!
K was really worried and he and his roommates sat around and tried to figure out what to do with me and they each took turns checking on me, getting me water, and holding my hair back! It was gross. Truly, I felt like a teenager. I think Sarah and her boyfriend had a big triggering effect on me because this quarter in particular we have gone out alot and really just been kids. Which has been fun! But also has consequences too! I've been lucky to be around people who care about me and make sure I'm good!
Around midnight, K decided he needed to take me home, so he put me in my car, drove me to Springfield, tucked me into bed, took care of my animals and charged my phone. When my phone turned back on, he set a billion alarms on it to make sure I would wake up in time to leave. Then he paid for a cab ride home! Just before 3am he called and made sure I had gotten up with my alarm. It was very sweet.
I made it to the airport on time, and flew to California for a wedding. It was only a 3 hour wedding, and because I had been so sick, I wasn't hung over at all. In fact, I felt great! I had a great day in the Bay and flew back that night. It was a crazy 24 hours, but I felt so cared about, and had fun at all of the activities of the day!
I made my first trip to Miette, which was wonderful!
A little worse for the wear (and lost my glasses, so I'm wearing an old rx here!) but alive!
